Terms of Service
Effective August 14, 2026
These terms cover your use of this site and your relationship with Storyline Creative, LLC. If you use Storybase, its own terms at storybase.io/terms apply as well.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Storyline Creative, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company (“Storyline Creative,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of storylinecreative.co and the information and services offered here.
By using this site or contacting us through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What We Do
Storyline Creative helps leaders write, produce, and publish books — ghostwriting, editorial, design, audiobook production, and publishing support.
We also own and operate Storybase, a publishing and reader-engagement platform at storybase.io. Use of Storybase is governed by its own terms at storybase.io/terms, which apply in addition to these for anyone using that platform.
3. This Site
The material on this site is provided for information. Portfolio work, testimonials, and results describe past projects and are not a promise of any particular outcome for your book.
Contacting us through this site does not create a client relationship. Client work is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, schedule, fees, and rights.
4. Client Work and Ownership
For engagements under a signed agreement, that agreement controls. As a general matter, our clients own the finished manuscript and the rights to their book; we retain the right to describe the work in our portfolio unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Material you send us — manuscripts, recordings, interviews, notes — remains yours. We treat it as confidential and use it only to do the work you hired us for.
5. Payments
Fees, deposits, and payment schedules are set in your engagement agreement. Invoices are due as stated there. Work may pause on overdue accounts.
6. Text Messages
We operate a text messaging program through Storybase. Consent is always separate, never required to receive a book, and can be withdrawn by replying STOP. Full terms are at storybase.io/messaging-terms, and our handling of mobile information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not copy, scrape, or republish this site's content, design, or portfolio material without permission
- Do not use the site to send unlawful, misleading, or harassing material
- Do not interfere with the site's operation or attempt to gain unauthorized access
8. Our Intellectual Property
The Storyline Creative and Storybase names, logos, site design, and written content belong to Storyline Creative, LLC. These terms give you no license to use them.
9. Disclaimers
This site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for third-party sites we link to.
Nothing here is legal, financial, or publishing-outcome advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storyline Creative is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of this site.
Liability arising from client work is governed by the limits in your engagement agreement.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
Before filing anything, please email info@storylinecreative.co — most problems are faster to fix directly.
12. Changes and Contact
We may update these terms as the business changes, and we will update the effective date above when we do.
